Antonia Juhasz: Why is Saudi Arabia Undermining COP21 When Climate Change Could Make the Gulf Uninhabitable?

At the UN Climate Change Conference (COP21), Saudi Arabia’s action was to throw up as many roadblocks to reaching an agreement.  This video was recorded by Democracy Now two days before the COP21 agreement was reached.

Ms. Juhasz notes that the Persian Gulf region will become simply uninhabitable unless we collectively get off fossil fuel consumption.  Therefore, with Saudi Arabia throwing up roadblocks to the agreement is a suicidal tendency.
