Solar Photovoltaic system sales – Solar Energy Consultant

Every company which installs solar electric systems has a sales team that is much like any other sales team.  Focused on generating leads, through a variety of channels, with a compensation program linked to sales performance.   It’s an opportunity to use ones sales experience to change the world by changing the way people get their electricity.

The actual work will vary on the company, because some focus on retail consumers looking to put solar panels on their house rooftop, and others focus on larger entities who have whole office blocks to power.

The sales person must be knowledgeable about solar power technology and bidding for construction jobs.  To be fully certified in this requires technical training in both areas.
